I want my child out playing and socialising rather than spending more time on a screen.
Absolutely, and we agree that outdoor play and social time matter. Our classes are only 45 to 60 minutes a week and are designed to improve the screen time children already have. Instead of only consuming games and apps, they learn to build, create, and solve problems in a fun and purposeful way.
There are already lots of coding companies. What makes Bytesparks different?
We focus on understanding, not just following steps. Our classes use a mix of custom-built teaching tools and already existing popular platforms, helping children understand concepts clearly while also building confidence with widely used tools. Over time, they also build a real portfolio of projects they can proudly show to family, friends, and mentors.
How are these skills useful outside the class itself?
Coding teaches more than coding. Children learn how to break big problems into smaller steps, organise their thinking, and work through mistakes calmly. These are skills they can use in homework, school projects, planning activities, and everyday problem-solving.
My child already spends too much time on screens. I don’t want to encourage that.
That is exactly why many parents choose this. We focus on improving the quality of screen time by turning it from passive entertainment into active creation. We also encourage children to plan ideas on paper before coding, so they learn to think, organise, and balance off-screen and on-screen work.
